Transcripts

Current and former Cochise College students may request a copy of their transcripts as long as they have completed at least one Cochise College course with a grade of A, B, C, D, F, P or Audit (Policy 4020.2).

Per Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations, transcript requests must be done by the student (not a parent or spouse) and must include a signature if being requested outside of the National Student Clearinghouse website.

Official Transcript

Cochise College will mail official transcripts to the location requested by student or students can request transcript via online by visiting the National Student Clearing House website. The charge to mail or pick up official transcripts is $10 per transcript.

Important Information

  • We will not accept cancellations once you have made payment.
  • Cochise College will send your transcript to the address you provide; we will not be responsible for errors, undeliverable or lost mail.
  • Expedited transcripts mailed Friday will be sent next business day delivery; weekend delivery is not available.
  • Expedited services requirements listed below, please read before processing request.
  • Archived transcripts prior to 1985 do not qualify for expedited service.

Transcript Processing Time

Transcript processing time is normally five business days after receiving the signed request and payment. During peak periods (January, February and August), it can take up to 10 business days to process requests. Transcripts are mailed via first-class mail.

The National Student Clearinghouse provides a secure and convenient web-based method for students and alumni to request official transcripts. Using the Clearinghouse interface you can order multiple transcripts to be sent to multiple locations in one session using a credit card for payment. You’ll be guided through the easy step-by-step process and receive email updates.

Please Note: Cochise College will close for a two-week winter break. If you will be requesting an official transcript before we close for two weeks, you should try to do it by mid-November, while the processing time is only five business days.

Grades will not be available for fall 16-week and the last 8-week classes until after 2 p.m. four business days after final exams end. If you would like us to hold your request until your fall grades have posted, select this option on the request form.

Due to the high volume of phone calls, emails, faxes and requests we receive during the break and in January, the processing time will increase to a minimum of 10 business days, which will continue through February.
