Important Links & Information
Directed Self Placement (DSP) is a course placement tool that helps you choose a course that aligns with your skills and your experiences. Once you complete the DSP activities, you will select which course best meets your needs.
You are welcome to speak to an advisor before, during, or after the placement process.
Due to regulations supporting student financial aid, Change of Major Requests can not be completed until the current semester has concluded. Delay in processing Change of Major Requests helps to ensure current financial aid awards are not impacted. Requested major change will go into effect the semester following the request.
Congratulations! You have achieved major educational goals and will soon be graduating! Cochise is happy to have been part of your educational journey.
Free tutoring is available to all Cochise College students.
The STEM Lab offers tutoring in many subjects, including math, science, and programming. The Writing Lab assists students with papers in any subject, including English, social sciences, and computer science.
In-person labs are located on both the Douglas and Sierra Vista campuses. Both labs also offer virtual tutoring through an online lab. The tutoring staff includes professional tutors with bachelor’s or master’s degrees, senior tutors with associate degrees, and peer tutors who are current Cochise College students.
