Enjoy our beautiful settings in Sierra Vista, Douglas and Benson with convenient parking, internet connections, on-site catering and security in Sierra Vista and Douglas, as well as staff available to assist your needs. Cochise College provides classroom facilities and limited multimedia, conference, event, and performance space for rental to the general public as college scheduling and space permits. Contact facilitiesevents@cochise.edu and our friendly staff will contact you about your event or meeting. We recommend you make your request at least two weeks in advance.

Our theater can seat approximately 140 people and is mediated for presentations. The Art Gallery is an excellent location for a reception. Our wide selection of athletic facilities may also be available for your next sporting event.

Located centrally between Tucson and Sierra Vista, off I-10 and the 90, our Benson Center is an ideal location for corporate meetings, banquets and special events. The Benson Center staff provide excellent customer service and events are tailored to your specific needs. There are general meeting rooms with video conferencing capabilities, a patio looking over the Sonoran Desert and specialized rooms that can be reconfigured based on the size of your event or meeting. Note: Catering is not provided at this facility.

Rental Policies
We recommend you make your request at least two weeks in advance.
A Facility Usage Fee document is available upon request. See below, or read the college policy 1004 (PDF) for more information about the use of college facilities.
- Facility rental fees usually include basic utilities and standard custodial services, technician(s), and security during regular college business hours. The college may assess additional fees for set-up/clean-up for events on nights, weekends and college holidays. Benson events held after normal business hours will be assessed a $20 per hour facility monitor fee with a one-hour minimum to open and close the facilities.
- College officials will assess the need for technicians(s) and maintenance workers and charge fess accordingly.
- Facility rental fees usually include equipment permanently installed in rooms.
- Some areas may rent for 1/2 days. Full day is up to 8 hours; 1/2 day is up to 4 hours. You may incur additional fees if event is longer than 8 hours.
- Only the college’s security service may provide security unless you make special arrangements with the Dean of Student Services prior to the event.
- The college may assess certain camps and conferences at a different rate as determined by college officials.
- Only the college’s catering service may supply food for events at the Douglas or Sierra Vista campuses unless special arrangements are made prior to the event. The catering service sets its own prices and does a separate billing. The Benson Center does not maintain a private catering service and does allow outside food and drink; arrangements are the responsibility of the renter.
- The college does not permit commercial vendors on district property unless they are part of a scheduled event and have specific authorization from the appropriate district official.
- Guests canceling less than 48 hours in advance may be charged the agreed upon fees.
