Online Courses
The Center for Lifelong Learning provides opportunities for you to take your non-credit classes anywhere in the world! We partner with two educational services to give you classes for your professional and personal development.
Our instructor-led online courses are informative, fun, highly interactive, and convenient. Choose from a wide variety of topics ranging from computer programming and web design to languages and writing.
How does it work?
- Courses begin monthly.
- Courses run for 6 weeks and include 12 lessons total, with 2 lessons being released each week. You are then given 2 weeks to complete the final exam.
- Complete the lessons on your own time; you do not have to be logged in when lessons are released.
- Most lessons can be completed in about 2 hours.
- Each lesson will include a discussion area through which you can communicate with the instructor. Lessons may also include quizzes, hands-on assignments, supplementary links, and more.
- You will receive a certificate of achievement from Ed2Go upon successful completion
Prepare for employment in some of today’s most desirable career fields with comprehensive and affordable online Career Training Programs, many of which prepare you for professional certification exams in your field of interest.
How does it work?
- Courses may be completed entirely online at your own pace.
- Courses do not have specific start dates; your course begins upon registration/payment and receiving your access information.
- Books and other learning materials are included in many of these programs and will be mailed directly to you upon registration/payment.
- Most programs allow 6 months to complete.
- Facilitators are available to answer questions and guide you through your studies.
- You will receive a certificate of achievement from Cochise College upon successful completion.
Our online certificates and courses are led by expert instructors. Participate anytime day or evening, from any computer.
How does it work?
- In the online classroom, listen to audio lectures, view slides, and take optional quizzes.
- Post written comments in the online discussion with your fellow participants and the instructor. Your instructor logs on once a day to answer questions and join in on the discussion.
- Many courses have online readings of up to 20 pages a week.
- Participate any time of day or night. The ideal is to go online 2-3 times a week, but you decide.
