The college has dedicated staff members to assist active duty military members and

If you are a military spouse or an active duty military member not using tuition assistance and haven't taken any college classes from Cochise College in the last two years, visit our admissions page and select first time student and follow the steps to complete your application and admission process.
Important Links & Information
Students from services other than the Army frequently participate in programs on Fort Huachuca and may be eligible to work toward different degrees. Military students may choose to work on any degree program Cochise College offers, either online or in traditional classrooms.
If military students wish to receive Tuition Assistance (TA), they must go through their parent service Education Services Officer to get the proper TA forms. Once filled out and signed, these forms can be faxed or emailed to:

Any remaining tuition balance is the responsibility of the student and can be paid by phone or by mail. Credit card payments can be phoned into the Sierra Vista Business Office at (520) 515-5416.
We accept Joint Services Transcripts (JST) and Community College of the Air Force transcripts (CCAF) for possible credit transfer toward a degree program. Cochise College only awards credits from the JST and CCAF based on ACE recommendation.

The Army Credentialing Assistance (CA) Program:
- Can pay for courses and exams that lead to industry-recognized civilian credentials.
- Can be used to enhance your skills, either in your current MOS, or in an occupation you would like to pursue when you leave military service.
- You can request CA funding for any credential listed on Army COOL
- You can find a list of centers/offices in ArmyIgnitED

My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA)
The My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) Scholarship Program is a workforce development program that provides up to $4,000 of financial assistance for licenses, certifications, or Associate’s degrees to pursue an occupation or career field. Military Spouses of service members on active duty in pay grades E-1 to E-9, W-1 to W-3, and O-1 to O-3 who can start and complete their coursework while their military sponsor is on Title 10 military orders, including spouses married to members of the National Guard and Reserve Components are eligible for this scholarship. Military Spouses must be eligible for instate tuition rate to use MyCAA at Cochise College. For more information, please contact a military Academic Advisor.
The Cochise College Testing Center offers a wide variety of testing services to students, faculty and community members.
These tests include:
- CLEP - College Level Exam Program
- DSST - DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST)
- Pearson VUE Testing - Licensure exams for CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco Systems, etc.
