STEM Lab

The STEM Lab is here to help students succeed. In the lab, students can get homework help, collaborate on ideas with others, gain study skills, prepare for tests, and learn how to handle math or test anxiety.

We are open in-person on the Sierra Vista and Douglas campuses, with additional online meeting times.

Appointments can be made for the following subjects:

  • Algebra
  • College Math
  • Nursing Math and Technical Math
  • Statistics
  • Trigonometry
  • Calculus I, II, and III
  • Business Math and Financial Accounting
  • Economics
  • Computer Programming and Computer Applications
  • Cybersecurity and Networking
  • Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
  • Digital Media Arts

The Online STEM Lab

Students can meet with a tutor online and schedule appointments on the STEM Lab's Moodle page, The Tutoring and Learning Center.

  1. Log in to MyCochise and go to Moodle.
  2. On the right-hand side of Moodle, click on the red arrow, which opens a right-hand side menu.
  3. Look under Student Quick Links and click on The TLC (Tutoring).
  4. Select the box labeled STEM Lab.

Other Resources

Tutor.com

Students also have access to additional tutoring through Tutor.com. All Moodle courses offer this service. Just look for the Tutor.com link in your courses. The number of Tutor.com hours available is limited, so we suggest students use this resource after-hours, on Sundays, or holidays when other help is unavailable.
